break it down

Over New Years Janessa and I were invited out to Princeville to hang out with the group we went to Biloxi with. I'm still amazed at how much we get together! There wasn't really anything planned so we just relaxed at Schicks New Years Eve. We played Cranium for awhile and then went on a scavenger hunt that Stan had made for us. Later Janessa and I talked to Thomas (Margie's cousin from Switzerland who is currently living/working in Afghanistan) while everyone else played Kick the Can. . . haha. . . game from the old days :) To ring in the new year.. we banged on pots and pans.. very exciting.
The next day we headed to Iowa to Ski/Snowboard. It was only my second time going.. the first time being 5 or so years ago.. I'd have to say I was pretty much of an amature! I tore up those slopes.. the snow.. the fence..I'm actually pretty disappointed in how few bruises I have... nothing to show off for all my pain! But Janessa and I were/are extremely sore! All in all, I liked it. I'm just ready to be in the expert stage!

And so one more week of break before its back to classes.. and this week looks promisingly full of fun escapades! I hope you're all having a grand break.. and I've had fun with all of you who I've seen over break :)
